Fixed Term (April – December 2026)
Full-Time 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)

The Organisational Design and Change Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping Te Kura future. This role leads the design and delivery of culturally responsive, people‑centred organisational change that enables Te Kura to thrive now and into the future.
Working at a strategic level, the Organisational Design and Change Manager ensures Te Kura structure, roles, governance, and decision‑making frameworks are aligned with its long‑term vision and values, and support strong, effective ways of working across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and implementation of organisation‑wide organisational design and change strategies aligned to Te Kura values and strategic direction.
- Designing and embedding a culturally responsive, people‑centred approach to change that strengthens ways of working.
- Ensuring organisational structures, roles, governance, and decision‑making frameworks support Te Kura long‑term aspirations.

A desire to work in a close-knit team that supports one another to deliver a range of People & Capability initiatives.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Ability to diagnose current‑state organisational structures and develop future‑state organisational designs aligned to strategy.
- Proven experience in organisational design and change delivery within large or complex organisations, including development of change plans, consultation materials, and implementation support.
- Ability to operate effectively in public sector or regulated environments, including engagement with senior leaders, unions, and system stakeholders.
