Secondment
1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
Term Four 2025
Based in any Te Kura location
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position
This internal expression of interest is for a fixed-term, full-time secondment opportunity until the end of Term 4. The timeframe has been extended due to an ongoing need in relation to the projects.
We are seeking someone from outside of the Human Resources (HR) team to bring their knowledge and skills to provide additional support within the HR team across several key projects. This role will work closely with portfolio leads and the wider HR team to ensure effective delivery of key initiatives, including but not limited to:
- Employment agreements and workforce planning: Supporting ongoing work related to employment conditions and workforce stability
- Onboarding and induction enhancements: Contributing to the development of training and support materials including training modules
- Role clarity and documentation: Assisting with the review and alignment of key documents including supporting the review of Te Kura position descriptions
- Child Safety Checks and processes
- Other HR related projects.

We're looking for someone with:
- A strong desire and passion to refine our people initiatives to support outcomes for ākonga
- A strong understanding of employment agreements and their application.
- Extensive knowledge of the different roles within Te Kura and how they operate within our ecosystem.
- Experience working as part of a project team.
