Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand's largest school with a roll of up to 24,000 ākonga (students) at any point of time. We provide personalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education from early childhood to NCEA Level 3, including to young adult and adult learners.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised Team Administrator who can confidently hit the ground running. This role provides critical support to the Regional Manager and Team Leader. With significant growth in the number of ākonga we support in the West Coast, the Team Administrator will ensure our services run smoothly and that the team has the stability and capability it needs.
You'll play a key part in helping us set up and maintain efficient educational support for a large group of ākonga on the West Coast, while also providing essential continuity during a period of change. This means we're looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and confident juggling a high workload with competing priorities.
This position also involves a variety of duties such as:
- Compile data and statistics for various reporting purposes
- Maintaining files and information for Manager/Team
- Schedule meetings and prepare agendas, presentations and take minutes
- Ensure all business runs smoothly
For this position, we offer a salary range starting from $55,026 - $65,337 per annum, pro rata. The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's unique combination of skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.

As this is a busy role, we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoys building strong working relationships. You will bring a high level of organisational competence and be confident managing multiple priorities to a consistently high standard.
You will also demonstrate:
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office products and other administrative technologies
- Basic to intermediate ability using online platforms and systems used by the Administration team
